Training and development of talented employees is a part of long-term strategy of Komerční banka. Our philosophy is to improve knowledge and skills primarily through on-the-job training and transfer of internal expertise. We also fully support internal mobility, which is a natural lever for employee development.
Getting started in a new job is not easy. New responsibilities, new colleagues, lots of new things to learn in a very short space of time. This can be rarely achieved without some form of advice or assistance...
Starting is our induction program which aims to help new employees fit in quickly and efficiently into the new KB environment. As part of this process, a one-day induction seminar is held for newcomers to get know about the organizational structure, the various bank departments, and some of the new processes they will encounter, as well as providing an opportunity for networking and meeting new colleagues.

We provide our employees with various training programs and courses to expand their skills and qualifications for their existing positions or to prepare for career development within the SG/KB Group.
The main areas of education at KB are:
"I have been working in the KB/SG Group for four years, in four different positions, but always in the field of Human Resources. The KB/SG Group supports employee mobility and I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to work abroad. I was seconded to Komerční banka Bratislava as Head of Human Resources. With its close geographical and cultural links, Slovakia is not really "abroad" for Czechs. However, this experience took me into in a new – and in many respects different – socio-political situation, as well as the new environment of the bank in which I was working. This expatriation provided considerable work and life experience, which will enable me to further my professional development within Human Resources at Komerční banka."
Finding and fostering potential talent. Our group has 160,000 employees from 116 nationalities who are operating out of 77 countries. There are 150 different professions through the whole spectrum of banking and finance.
