Students and Graduates

We are particularly attentive when it comes to students and graduates. Our goal is to help students and young graduates begin their professional careers and acquire further skills. For this purpose, we organize tailor-made programs and projects, such as Connecting and Connecting +.

Students

Komerční banka offers to students from secondary schools, higher professional schools and universities the possibility of obtaining quality work experience while they are still in education. Students are thus able to use their knowledge of the corporate culture, and put theoretical knowledge into practice or gain practical experience during their higher or doctorate studies.

We also cooperate with the best Czech universities, student organizations and a number of colleges. Long-term cooperation in this field leads to ongoing success stories, as illustrated by the fact that we have won the title “The Most Desired Company of the year for university graduates” several times already.

By virtue of this cooperation, not only do we present ourselves as a prospective employer for young graduates, but we also offer work experience during studies, support in terms of university projects, financial support, lecturing and other activities.

For active students who want to work on their own development while still in higher education, Société Générale organizes an international student’s game every year focused on corporate social responsibility. Student teams made up of three team-members, supported by ambassadors from local SG Group banks take part each year. For further information click here.

Graduates

Komercní banka has developed a special three-day trainee program, “Connecting”, designed for all graduates who begin working for KB, irrespective of their job, within two years following their graduation date.

The goal of the program is as follows:

  • To launch graduates' professional careers and help them get off to a good start with KB
  • To motivate new employees - young graduates with potential for managerial and expert positions
  • To identify talents
Only the best will have the opportunity to take part in the annual “ Connecting +” program
