Professional regulations

Personal information

-    Collection
When you visit this site, in order to better serve your needs, Société Générale may collect personal information that you provide, either directly (specifically your CV or application) or indirectly (e.g. your computer’s IP address), and where applicable using forms. This information is recorded in Société Générale IT systems or those of service providers and consultants assigned by Société Générale. Certain elements of your personal information are required to process your requests: in this case they are marked with an asterisk or a similar distinguishing mark.
The information communicated will be kept for no longer than 18 months. However, at any time you may access your account using the ID and password chosen when you created the account to make changes or delete information as you require.

-    Use
The information we collect is used principally for the management of candidate applications and recruitment activities. It may also be used to inform you of job offers, forums, actions or publications that are likely to be of interest to you.
Indirect personal information, for statistical analysis, may also be collected for the purposes of managing your connection and navigation (See below, information about Cookies).

- Communication with third-parties
Personal data collected can, as expressly agreed upon, be shared with legal entities of Société Générale Group, as well as to its partners, brokers and insurers as well to its subcontractors to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of the agreement or for direct marketing purposes.

-    Processing security
Société Générale takes all physical, technical and organisational measures needed to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data, particularly in view of protecting it against loss, accidental destruction, alteration, and non authorised access.

-    Application of European regulations on the transfer of personal data outside the European Union
In particular owing to the international nature of Société Générale Group, and in order to optimise quality of service, the communication of information mentioned above may involved the transfer of personal data to countries from outside the European Economic Area, whose legislation on the protection of personal data is different from that within the European Union. Throughout the entire length of the banking relationship,  Société Générale may entrust certain services with operational functions to service providers chosen for their expertise and reliability outside the European Union to provide targeted and limited IT services (tests, developments, IT maintenance).

-    Right of access, rectification and opposition
You have the right to access your personal data and to request that any incorrect, incomplete or out of date information be modified, updated or removed. Subject to a legitimate reason, you may also oppose the use of your personal information. This opposition may nevertheless lead to Société Générale being unable to process your request. You may also oppose the use of your personal data for marketing communication purposes without the obligation of providing justification.

Your rights to access, rectify and oppose the use of your information may be exercised online by accessing your personal account, but also by contacting the webmaster.
