Join for a VIE the Investment Banking arm of Société Générale (SGCIB), and more precisely our Global Equity Flow (GEF) department in Hong Kong.

SGCIB/GEF desk offers to regional and worldwide customers flow and derivatives opportunities on a broad range of products, encompassing stocks, indices, warrants, Exchange Traded Funds and execution services on Asian markets.

Serving mainly institutional (Hedge Funds, Asset Manager, Banks,…) and retails investors, we provide reliable and competitive hedging solutions and risk management strategies. Capitalizing on our true global platform, SG CIB provides round-the-clock extensive pricing capabilities on derivatives, denominated in all major currencies.

More precisely, you will be integrated within the Equity Finance business team. You will work with traders, sales and middle office teams.

Your role

You will be in charge of :

Equity Finance research, i.e. looking at special situations, market/sector trends, quantitative and qualitative effects on repo prices, etc.
Assisting traders on their day to day activities
Creating/improving tools and infrastructure around the Equity Finance and single stock delta one business

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months. You will receive an allowance to complete Ubifrance allowance.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Ubifrance’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.

Your profile

Graduate from Business or Engineering School or University, with major in Finance, you ideally have a first experience in financial industry, and you have good VBA programming skills.

Your speak English fluently. You are proficient with Excel and Visual Basic.

You are both results and quality-oriented.

You are open-minded and you have entrepreunarial skills.

Finally, your creativity and your good analytical skills will be the keys to succeed in your mission.

Your career path

This mission will give you the opportunity to gain depth exposure to the Equity Finance and single stock delta one business.

Analyse fiscale en Back-Office

Vos missions :

A ce titre et en collaboration avec votre maître de stage et les chefs de produits qui assurera votre formation, vous participez aux missions suivantes :

- Recherches juridiques et fiscales dans les bases documentaires,

- Veille fiscale : analyse et suivi de l’évolution des règles fiscales internationales applicables aux revenus de valeurs mobilières,

- Rédaction d’informations fiscales sur ces évolutions,

- Participation à l’analyse de l’impact des évolutions fiscales sur les traitements,

- Alimentation de l’outil de recensement des règles applicables aux clients.

Votre profil H/F :

Vous êtes étudiant Bac +4/5 en École de Commerce, d’Ingénieur ou Université avec une spécialité en Droit, Fiscalité ou Finance. Votre anglais est courant et vous maîtrisez les outils du Pack Office. Par ailleurs, vous avez idéalement une première expérience dans le domaine juridique ou fiscal.

Les apports du stage :

Ce stage vous donnera l’opportunité de découvrir le métier Titres et de développer vos connaissances fiscales et juridiques dans le domaine financier. Il vous permettra également de vous familiariser avec le domaine bancaire.

Durée du stage : 6 mois.

Votre stage

Vous rejoignez la direction des activités de marché et plus particulièrement la trésorerie.

Vous travaillez avec les COOs (Chief Operating Officer) de cette activité et êtes en relation avec les Front Offices de ce périmètre.

A ce titre et sous la responsabilité de maître de stage, vous participez aux missions suivantes :
- Contrôle et suivi des activités du Front Office ;
- Préparation des documents de reporting de liquidité et supervision des risques dont le COO à la responsabilité.

Vous avez de nombreuses interactions en interne (Middle Office, Back Office, Informatique, département des risques, département financier).

Votre profil- H/F

Vous êtes étudiant de niveau supérieur Bac +4/5 en Ecole de Commerce, Ecole d'Ingénieur ou Université avec une spécialisation en Finance.

Vous maîtrisez parfaitement le Pack Office. Votre niveau d’anglais est courant.

Un précédent stage en finance est un plus.

Le stage vous permettra d'appréhender le fonctionnement d'une salle de marché, avec ses différents acteurs.

Votre rôle :

Au sein de Société Générale Re, filiale du groupe Société Générale, vos principales missions consisteront à :

Contrôler et enregistrer les reportings comptables aux normes IFRS sur le logiciel Magnitude en collaboration avec une société de gestion locale
Assurer le contrôle de gestion de la société et la remontée des reportings financiers vers le groupe
