Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) is the ‘global knowledge centre’ of Societe Generale. It was setup to deliver projects in application development & maintenance, business and knowledge processes outsourcing, and infrastructure management services to Societe Generale business units around the world.

SG GSC today has over 2,400 staff and we plan to increase our headcount in the coming years. We are firmly committed to Societe Generale’s diversity principles and our staff encompasses individuals from seven nationalities, speaking 20 languages.

History

SG GSC was started in 2000 and was Societe Generale’s second business unit in India. What started as a 10-member entity called SG Software Asia Pvt. Ltd (SGSAP) has grown to over 2400-staff operations offering cutting edge IT development skills and back-office/transaction process capabilities to Societe Generale around the world. In 2006, we were renamed to Societe Generale Global Solution Centre.

Today, SG GSC delivers IT projects for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB), Specialised Financial Services, International Retail Banking, and Global Investment Management & Services. We also provide accounting and business market operations service for SG CIB and Global Investment Management & Services.

  • Business & Knowledge Process Outsourcing - Services include Research & Analytics, Fund Administration, Financial Reporting, Expenses, HR Operations, Trade Operations, Global FOREX, Financial Performance Management, and Accounting Controls & Reporting.
  • Infrastructure Management Services - Services include End User Support, Database & Systems Administration, Data Centre Services, and Command Centre.
