Responsibilities

Société Générale Group has been operating in Poland since 1976 which makes it one of the foreign banks with the longest presence in the country. It provides services in the area of corporate and investment banking (Société Générale S.A. Branch in Poland), insurance (Sogecap S.A. Branch in Poland and Sogessur S.A Branch in Poland) and leasing (ALD Automotive and SG Equipment Leasing).

As a key pillar of the Société Générale Group’s universal banking model, SG CIB supports the economy by playing a key intermediary role, offering broad market access to issuers and smart investment solutions to investors. The service we bring to our corporate and financial institutions clients revolves around three main activities - investment banking, financing and markets - and our global franchises of equity derivatives and natural resources. For our clients we stand out because we are a trusted advisor with a worldwide leading engineering expertise and a quality product suite.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Processing of claims and investigations for related product and processes (mainly credit transfers and direct debits)
  • Monitoring and reconciliation of nostri and internal accounts including justification and regularization action
  • Processing of charges and corrections
  • Preparing reports and statistics as part of local regulatory obligations and internal rules
  • Cooperating with other Société Générale departments 

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Authorization to work in Poland
  • Experience in a bank or financial institution would be an asset

Language skills:

  • Polish - B2 (written and oral)
  • English – B2/C1 (written and oral)
  • German, French, Spanish or another European language will be a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of banking products and settlements (SEPA, SWIFT, Target) especially in commercial payments
  • Skills in MS Office, with particular emphasis on MS Excel, MS Word
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, commitment and diligence
  • Flexibility & very good organization of work
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
