Responsibilities

The Agile/Scrum Master assists team members achieving its Delivery objectives defined with the Product Owner. While supporting Agile practices, he / she contributes to the reporting of the Delivery in interaction with the Product Owner, and facilitates the coordination with others Feature Teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Agile/Scrum Master supports Agile practices in the team, participates to Agile ceremonies and events, and assists team members to coordinate.He / she is the conductor of the Feature Team and supports the team so that it is able to deliver the backlog maintained and prioritized by the Product Owner.

Promote Agile practices within the team

• Train and coach the members of the Feature Team to the values, principles and practices of Agility

• Facilitate the ceremonies of the Feature Team focusing on the objectives of the iteration, its predictability, its velocity...

• Support Product Owner and facilitate intra-team dynamics in relation to priorities and perimeters

• Ensure the sustainability of agility (values, principles, and practices) within the Feature Team

Profile required

Support the team in achieving its objectives on both delivery and production

  • Help the team overcome their obstacles by solving the problems encountered

•    Support the continuous improvement dynamics of the team

  • Support the team on the quality of the deliverables with the help of the Technical Leader and on the stability of the production with the help of the members of the Support Chapter
  • Support team members on a daily basis

• Ensure with the Feature Team manager/Chapter that the team members have the required skills

• Foster a problem-solving mindset

• Help team cohesion Ensure reporting with the Product Owner

• To carry out with the Product Owner the reporting on the delivery and the production

• Follow the budget and the roadmap “Agile" to contribute to the Steering Committees and Operational Committees

• Support the Product Owner in managing its backlog Facilitate coordination with other teams

• Communicate and coordinate with other teams

• Assist the team in preparing synchronization ceremonies with other teams

_SECONDARY ACTIVITIES

• Operating activities (e.g. Software Engineer, Business Analyst)

• To be able to delegate part of its activities to other members of the team (e.g. facilitation of ceremonies), while retaining the responsibility

• When the team and the Product Owner become more autonomous, the activities of the Agile Scrum Master may eventually decrease
