Responsibilities

Regulatory monitoring and reporting:

  • Responsible for daily MAS and SGX regulatory monitoring including analysis of ratios
  • Responsible for weekly and fortnightly MAS reporting and submission and SGX weekly credit facilities reporting and submission.

 Financial and management reporting:

  • Responsible for performing month-end closing controls
  • Perform in-depth analysis on financial performance/key metrics and prepare reports for local management and business lines
  • Support manager in other controls and governance, statutory and other audits of entities
  • Responsible for accounts payable function, including oversight of outsourced Procure-to-pay function

ALM and tax reporting:

  • Contribute to the ALCO deck preparation
  • Responsible for preparation of quarterly GST reporting for entities
  • Contribute to annual corporate income tax return and transfer pricing document preparation 
     

Profile required

  Academic Background and Certifications, Experience:

  • University degree in Accountancy.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the banking industry
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting in the banking industry would be an advantage
  • Candidates with external audit experience in financial sector are welcomed to apply

  Operational Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in basic coding or relevant vendor solution like Power BI and Alteryx

Department Description:

The Finance Service Unit (“DFIN”) coordinates the Finance Line and ensures the Group’s financial production, steering and management via a number of complementary missions:

  • support business lines, service units and general management in terms of financial and strategic steering
  • ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and obligations
  • ensure monitoring and steering of P&L and scarce resources performance (capital, liquidity, balance sheet) in keeping within strategic objectives and in compliance with regulatory obligations
  • ensure regulatory watch on topics pertaining to scarce resources, accounting and finance.
