The Cross-Asset Collateral & Risk operations Department (CCR), part of GBIS Operation department, oversees the
Collateral management on CCP cleared products (OTC and listed products) for Agency business
The role incumbent will be part of the GBSU/MTR/CCR organization. The employee will be responsible to oversee and
perform all production level tasks related to mitigation of Credit Risk involved with respect to Listed, OTC trades registered
on various Clearing Houses and also perform activities across all agencies clearing business – APAC, SGIL & SGAS
Primary responsibilities will include (but not limited to) performing
- Settlements (Cash / Non Cash) – VM, IM, DF and Intraday Margin Call to Clients , CCP & Carry brokers
- Validation of Margin calls booked by client functional team to ensure no impact to PnL of the Bank
- Follow all the settlement norms in case of manual payments
- Ensure to meet regulatory and market cut off in meeting the margin call requirements with Clients, CCP and
Intercompanies
- Monitor in real time our collateral level at clearing houses
- Monitoring and Perform Funding to various nostro accounts and securities custodian
- Be aware all the time on the calendar & currency holidays, projection cut offs, and various other deadlines
- Identity, resolve and report accounting & Settlement breaks within stipulated deadline to reduce risk to bank
- Identity, resolve and report treasury breaks and incidents
- Perform various reporting tasks to report process metrics, risk metrics and health of the process based on the set
structure
- Work forwards to improve the process by brining new ideas during whiteboard and continous improvement planning
session
This role would also include responsibilities to manage all CCP collateral activities related to SG positions and CCP
positions/Clients:
▪ resolve and report discrepancies
▪ identify recurrent issues
▪ liaise with IT and/or operations to solve recurrent issues
Other Skills
- Relevant experience within the Capital Markets practice, preferably Collateral Operations, including portfolio
reconciliations and dispute management.
- Good oral and written communication skills and ability to deal with external counterparties with minimum or zero
assistance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience
- Expertise in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Document with ability to translate ideas into presentation
