Responsibilities

Delivery & Operational Excellence
• As a member for Valuations Operations, to take up end to end ownership/accountability of the production activities related to the process.
• Work as a team to ensure the production objectives are met smoothly and timely response on client requests, thus adhering to deadlines.
• Professionally communicate (Emails +Phone calls) with clients/onshore/FO/MO/BO & all other relevant stakeholders.
• Zeal to elevate your level of knowledge in using the Reporting and Valuations applications/system.
• To ensure that client confidentiality is not breached in any case by supplying the incorrect information.
• To make sure that procedure set are followed in daily reporting & valuation processing.
• Work with a variety of internal and external clients to resolve issues, implement process improvements and support strategic initiatives in the team.
• Be able to logically think & challenge on the activities performed on a day to day basis.
• Be proactive in identifying the issues/risk in production and escalating the same to management.
• 0 tolerance on data breaches and operational losses and timely reporting of the same.
• Monitoring and ensuring the production quality in terms of the KPI & KRI are in line with global standard
• Ensure collation and reporting of KRIs for Valuations process that provides clarity of the Volume, reporting time, SLA, Incidents to stakeholders and management levels on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Identify and Monitor operational risks for critical function within Valuations and make systematic reporting to all stakeholders. Ensure that relevant controls are implemented and performed timely. Understand and educate the team on internal controls and compliance processes along with and legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal and external process guidelines including compliance and legal to build and maintain robust production and control environment.

Client Service Excellence
• Collaborate with the Onshore Control Manager & other stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of functional/regional OVS governance is built and sustained over time providing clarity of roles and responsibilities.
• Participate in stand-up meeting in more Client centric way including internal errors, Incidents, etc.
• Report and escalate any incident / alert to the management appropriately. Follow up with the relevant teams and close all open incidents in a timely manner

Operational risk:
• Understand the scope of the valuation reporting process and highlight the risks to stakeholders
• Perform all controls timely and accurately
• Ensure high risk items / situations are escalated to management in a timely fashion. Ensure all risk incidents are escalated to reporting / functional line manager in a timely fashion and are tracked till resolution.

Profile required

Graduate with finance specialization and prior work experience of 1-3 years
Abilities/skills required:
Effective Communication (Oral and written)
Proficiency in MS Office Tools (Excel, Word Doc, PPT, etc)
Flexible working in Shifts (Asia/US/Europe)
Accuracy and organization
Eye for Detail
Experience in an IB scenario is an added advantage especially in the Listed, OTC client valuation and Collateral Management back office operations etc.
