Major Accountabilities/Principal responsibilities:

The Infrastructure business line is responsible for providing financial advisory services and debt financing in relation to infrastructure assets in sectors including transportation, social and digital infrastructure. The business line has teams based in Paris, London, Madrid, Milan, Sydney and New York. Our clients include local and international developers of and investors in infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be involved in advisory mandates and lending roles and will focus on:

  • Responsibility for financial modelling in support of advisory mandates, including creating and analysing financial scenarios and producing sensitivity analysis
  • For lending mandates, reviewing and analysing the financial model and supporting the preparation of credit applications and due diligence review
  • Providing day-to-day transaction support and managing internal processes relating to our business
  • Identifying potential marketing opportunities and preparing pitch and presentation materials
  • Starting to establish a network of contacts at key clients and prospective clients
  • Staying abreast of developments in the sector as well as current transactions and opportunities in the market

Profile Required

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge Required:
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline
  • Post graduate qualifications considered favourably 
  • One to two years’ experience in a similar or related role
  • Experience in a financial institution desirable
  • Strong numerical skills with a solid understanding of accounting concepts, financial statements and cashflows 
  • Existing financial modelling skills will be considered favourably however support will be provided to the successful candidate
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office generally

  • Proven analytical skills as well as exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial issues
  • An ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail 
  • A capacity to manage multiple tasks and the ability to prioritise tasks as relevant
