Application Administrator - Core Banking
Misiune
Technical Administrator / 2nd Level Support of applications related to the services in the area of competence (Core Banking, ETL).
Responsibilities
For the applications/solutions under your responsibility:
• Perform installation and configuration management on production environments;
• Monitor the availability, performance and stability of the systems;
• Define the specifications for the implementation of applicative monitoring and automation;
• Coordinate the resolution of the incidents in order to meet targeted SLAs;
• Contribute to problem and root cause analysis and make suitable recommendations for corrective action plans;
• Participate as a member of the project team;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the solutions and processes;
• Participate at the on-call duty and share it with the other team members.
Profil
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience as an IT Technical Application Administrator or similar position;
• Good knowledge of operating systems Unix (Linux, IBM AIX), Microsoft Windows;
• Good knowledge of databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc (SQL queries and basic administration);
• General knowledge / experience in working wih (administration would be a plus) ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, Apache Airflow, IBM Infosphere Datastage, Oracle Data Integrator, Talend Open Studio, SAS Data Integration Studio, etc) ;
• Experience with shell scripting (bash, pyhon, powershell, etc);
• Experience in working with an workload automation tool (BMC Control-M, , CA Automic, ActiveBatch, Stonebranch UAC, IBM Workload Automation, AutoSys, Dollar Universe, etc)
• Experience with monitoring tools integration (CheckMK/Nagios, Elastic, Prometheus, Oracle Grid);
• General knowledge of application servers and middlewares (Tomcat/Jboss/WebLogic/WebSphere, IBM MQ/Rabbit MQ) ; experience in deployment and troubleshooting applications using these tehnologies ;
• General knowledge of virtualization and containerization/orchestration solutions (VMware, Docker/Podman, Openshift, Kubernetes);
• General knowledge of ITIL methodology with focus on change management, incident and problem management;
• Availability for working in 2 shifts: 7:30 – 15:30,14:30 – 22:30.
• IT university graduate (Polytechnic Institute - Automation and Computers, Electronics, Academy of Economic Studies - Faculty of Statistics, Cybernetics and Economic Informatics; Faculty of Mathematics-Informatics or equivalent);
• English - medium
