Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

The successful candidate will manage teams of 60+ employees in charge of developing and maintaining Digital Workplace services across Asia Pacific and more specifically:

  • End-Users proximity support
  • Workstations engineering and packaging
  • Remote Access and Virtual Desktop solutions
  • Collaboration, Audio/Video and Messaging solutions
  • User office network connectivity & internet connectivity
  • Mobile service offering

The responsibilities for this senior role include the following:

  • Build and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for deploying, managing and maintaining the services linked to the perimeter
  • Ensure that proposed and existing infrastructure architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Establish the budget required for a cost-effective management of the perimeter and monitor its execution
  • Ensure that required policies and procedures considering architecture, standards, production and relevant TRM processes are in place for the perimeter
  • Assume overall responsibility for the quality of production activities related to the perimeter. This includes, but is not limited to availability, scheduling, applications, problem reporting and trending, capacity planning, configuration management, and disaster recovery
  • Provide input to the Product Owner on the product strategy and vision, and give feedback to the Product Owner on the content and prioritization of the Product Backlog
  • Maintain relationship with Paris HQ and ensure consistency between global and regional strategy. Contribute to international Exco.
  • Provide support and assistance to the teams. Be prompt and proactive in helping removing impediments that are harming their ability to be effective
  • Identify issues that teams might overlook, such as capacity, performance, security, etc.
  • Manage staffing strategy (sourcing and hiring) based on cost, organization and operational objectives with input of the teams and stakeholders
  • Plan and manage skills development and training for staffs
  • Coach staff to help them in their career development in line organizational needs
  • Provide performance feedback and complete performance evaluations for staffs
  • Define offshoring strategy for internal services and relevant framework to follow-up service execution and performance
  • Stay abreast of developments in technologies used by the teams and up to date on industry practices
  • Manage vendor relationships, service level attainment and drive all providers to high levels of quality delivery based on company requirements
  • Manage Audit related the perimeter, which includes, answering questions, write managerial answers, define and follow-up remediation actions

Profile required

Profile Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with a post graduate degree being advantageous
  • 10 years experience in management of IT teams.
  • 5 years experience in management of workplace teams and services
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Autonomous and resourceful
  • Handle and settle people conflicts
  • Major incident & crisis management
  • Experience in establishing strong and long-term relationship with internal partners
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal). Fluent in English
  • Broad understanding of Infrastructure services, operational risks and management methodologies
