The role is within the Markets Norms Control and Governance team (MARK/NCG) in London.
The team is in charge of managing transversally MARK’s normative governance framework defining MARK’s governance on operational and conduct risk matters, identifying main risks and designing corresponding controls and risk indicators.
The MARK Regulatory adaptation and management,
The MARK Governance on operational risks definition and management,
The MARK Norms definition and management,
The MARK Operational Framework definition and management,
The MARK 1st Line of Defence governance,
The MARK Conduct (including Conflicts of Interests) and Culture framework,
The MARK Benchmarks framework.
Summary of the key purposes of the role:
Within Société Générale’s market activities, you will join the Markets Norms Control and Governance team (MARK/NCG) whose main mission is assisting the business lines of the integrated Global Markets platform (MARK) in the control of non-financial risks (operational and management risks). The department makes the link with the operational and control functions for the identification and prevention of risks as well as the definition and implementation of the control framework. Within the first line of defense, and in liaison with MARK business managers and the 2nd line defense teams (CPLE, RISQ, DFIN), the department is in charge of:
Assisting MARK Management with the identification, control and measurement of operational and conduct risks
Defining, implementing and communicating the rules and norms specific to MARK for the prevention of operational and conduct risks;
Defining and implementing MARK governance framework for monitoring risks.

Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in Finance.
A previous experience in Investment Banking would be appreciated.
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient in Office application.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
