Regulatory monitoring and reporting:

  • Responsible for production of monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual MAS reporting eg MAS 610, MAS 649 etc) and projections on regulatory ratios/metrics
  • Lead change management and partner business lines for new regulatory requirements and new product analysis

Financial and management reporting:

  • Responsible for review of Group reporting packages by offshored teams and provide oversight guidance
  • Manage entities’ month-end closing control processes, including follow up and resolution of issues
  • Perform in-depth analysis on financial performance/key metrics and prepare reports for local management and business lines

 ALM reporting:

  • Manage the ALCO process which includes deck preparation and presentation during ALCO
  • Proactively manage structural risk, escalate potential issues in a timely manner and ensure compliance with limits

Tax reporting:

  • Responsible for preparation of quarterly GST reporting for entities and performing controls surrounding GST reporting process
  • Manage corporate income tax process of entities, including preparation and liaison with tax advisors on filing. 

Profile required

  Academic Background and Certifications, Experience:

  • University degree in Accountancy.
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in banking industry
  • Strong regulatory reporting background from banking industry is preferred
  • Prior external audit experience in financial sector would be an advantage

  Operational Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Axiom is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred
  • Experience in basic coding or relevant vendor solution like Power BI and Alteryx

Department Description:     

The Finance Service Unit (“DFIN”) coordinates the Finance Line and ensures the Group’s financial production, steering and management via a number of complementary missions:

  • support business lines, service units and general management in terms of financial and strategic steering
  • ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and obligations
  • ensure monitoring and steering of P&L and scarce resources performance (capital, liquidity, balance sheet) in keeping within strategic objectives and in compliance with regulatory obligations
  • ensure regulatory watch on topics pertaining to scarce resources, accounting and finance.
