Participate in audit of sales and trading desk activities across asset classes, and associated support and control functions. Use strong communication skills to assist with the organization and leading of interviews and meetings during audit missions on topics with auditees and senior team members in order to obtain data to provide concise and comprehensive debriefing presentations. Assist with driving parts of the audit process, including completing parts of diagnostic matrix, suggest areas for review, and propose audit procedures to be performed; identify and rank risk on a process; and propose relevant sampling strategies. Prepare high quality written materials that support the findings and conclusions. Assist in leading or lead some audit missions by defining control (audit) procedures, determining the scope, priorities, time schedule and budget, identifying required resources; identifying root causes, and developing recommendations. Provide high quality and impactful audit reports and executive summaries. Conduct follow-ups on the implementation of recommendations and the action plans. Participate in department wide projects and actively contribute, communicate and implement change and supporting others throughout the process. Coach junior staff to help develop their competencies and provide formal feedback to team members. May telecommute within the U.S. 1 business day per week.

Profile Required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field, plus 4 years of professional experience in the financial services industry working with trading products (Equity derivatives, Fixed income commodities and currencies, and prime brokerage) and support activities and controls OR 4 years of professional experience managing or participating in the internal or external audit process (including defining control procedures; determining the scope, priorities, time schedule and budget; identifying required resources; identifying root causes; and developing recommendations). Must also have the following: 2 years of professional experience working at a global financial institution; 1 year of professional experience extracting and analyzing audit data.
