The current role is based in Montreal and the resource will join a team of approximatively 5 members, all of them working closely with the extended AMER CCR team based in New York for a total of 10 collaborators.

As-Agent stream : Implementation of new counterparty metrics helping RISK officers to assess Société Générale’s exposure on “principals”. This project covering both tactical and strategic initiatives was established in 2019 as the result of concerns from US SEC that broker-dealers were unable to assess their exposure to the underlying principals (the beneficial owners) in agency lending transactions, but were instead only able to evaluate their exposure to the agent lender itself (already known via the existing CVAR metrics). Technically, the features are implemented into an in-house ETL and python scripts and results are visualized using PowerBI.
