Responsibilities

 As a Business Analyst in Finance Division, you will contribute to the implementation of the Target Operating Model for the finance processes as key contributor in accounting & IT transformation projects managed by  Global Solution Centre Romania for the legal entities of Societe General Group. Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Understand, design and document business process workflows and Functional Specifications in case of changes within the  domain of Accounting, Reporting and Controlling, meant to ensure the maintenance and upgrade of the processes by making things simpler and leaner by automatisation
  • Clarify the requirements of the clients or legislation (e.g. regulatory requirements, internal procedural changes , architecture changes) by using interviews, business analysis workshops, business process diagrams, working procedures, use cases, scenarios, tasks and workflow analysis
  • Understand the systems’ interfaces, data transformations, manual interventions for a comprehensive analysis on the identification of interdependencies, their classification by category (e.g. DQ, applications errors, IFRS requirements, etc), with the objective to identify the best functional and technical solution to the problems identified
  • Compare existing process and data flows to becnhmark and make proposals for the new designed processes to  relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to Testing strategy and the execution of the UAT by an adequate documentation of the results and validation/sign off
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with other stakeholders on impact analysis, raise of allerts, risk monitoring and progress status
  • Be a facilitator of chage by clearly documenting the need of working in a different manner for better results or higher efficiency.

 

Profile required

  • Minimum 7-8 years relevant experience in Finance & Controlling, in Project Management Office or Digital Tranformation;
  • Graduate of Academy of Economic Studies (preferably Accounting & Information Systems/CIG) and Polytechnics
  • Strong analytical thinking and capability to re-think processes by optimising data processing and responsibility matrix
  • Previous experience or knowleadge on IFRS principles, consolidation rules, inter-companies reconciliation, analytical reviews - would be a plus
  • Clear and concise communication style
  • Fluent in English; command of French - would be a plus
  • Strong knowleadge on MS Office
  • Prior usage of PowerBi/Querry, Alteryx and certifications in Data analytics and Business Analysis – would be a plus
