Responsibilities

   Work with the Product Owners / Business Analysts of the Application to gather requirements, refine backlog and pass on the details to the Agile Feature Team members for development  

   Refines the product's requirements to ensure they maintain cohesion with the business needs for the product, identify and mitigate risk early in the project  

   Provides just-in‐time requirements to avoid waste or rework of requirements.  

   Ensures that the right solution is delivered.  

   Be a facilitator in complex environments, bringing divergent business stakeholders together and helping them speak with a single voice so the project team is not confused by contradictory and conflicting perspectives.  

   Must play a central role in defining and communicating the acceptance criteria prior to development work commencing.  

   Will be involved in creating and executing acceptance tests, break down vision into requirements and provide accurate estimation of the same 

   Can at a future point of time may play a role in identifying important requirements that might not have been actively represented by stakeholders.  

   It is incumbent on the analyst to constantly review requirements with the business stakeholders and ensure that any shifts in business needs are accurately reflected in future releases of the product.  

   Active participant of planning, analyzing, testing, and demonstrating activities.  

   Active Participant of all the Agile Ceremonies 

Profile required

6 + Yrs. of experience in Business Analyst. [ Overall Experience not to exceed 8 for BA candidates and 10 years for Operations to BA candidates]

Should have functional / domain knowledge on Cash Management: Liquidity Management (LM) specifically

Should have worked on Liquidity products 

Prior Functional Analysis knowledge is also expected on the above areas

Ability to assess evaluate OTS LM products and also work with technical streams to suggest requirements for conceptualizing LM

Should have prior experience in working in transformation projects

The ideal candidate will be a Business Analyst within the Agile Features Team for the Client facing Payments Application 

S/ He will work with Product Owners, Business Analysts at onshore and offshore to understand the deliverable related to the application and document them in JIRA and other tools as applicable 

S/He is conversant with Payment & LM Terminologies 

S/He is well versed and has had experience in understanding / preparing, Business Requirements Document and Functional Specification Documents 

S/He should be able to understand the Payments Architecture, upstream, downstream systems within the landscape of a payments system and should be able to relate to the application s/he will handle 

S/He should have strong analytical skills and be able to arrive at the Acceptance Criteria for a specific requirement and should be able to provide all functional nuances to the Development and QA members for the same 

S/He should also be aware of Functional Testing practices and should take up responsibility of Functional Testing to move the code change to production 

S/He will be taking ownership of the tasks that is taken up by her / him

Plan Business Analysis Approach (Backlog Management, Planning Workshop, Real Options, Retrospectives).

Conduct Stakeholder Analysis (Collaborative games, personas, Value Stream Mapping).

Think as a Customer (User Story, Story Mapping, Story Decomposition, Story Elaboration, Storyboarding, Acceptance Criteria).

Analyze to Determine What is Valuable 

Stimulate Collaboration and Continuous Improvement (Collaborative games, Retrospectives).

Avoid Waste (Lightweight Documentation, Automated Testing) .
