As a Business Analyst you will be a member of the Operational Excellence (OPEX) team in Global Solution Centre in Bucharest, responsible for caring out the activities under the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Pillar but also other transversal activities in support of Accounting and Regulatory (ACR) teams.

What you will do:

  • Establish ORM Roadmap together with OPEX Paris team and ensure execution;
  • Collect, monitor and report production incidents in ACR department, contribute to incidents diagnosis, remediation plans set-up and follow up for resolution;
  • Coordinate yearly departmental risk assessment exercises in alignment with department head and OPEX Paris;
  • Periodically review and update operational  & managerial controls together with production team leaders;
  • Maintain awareness on control framework in ACR department ( eg provide training on control framework & guidance for incident/ anomaly declaration and management);
  • Responsible for contract management activities: create and update ACR service contracts with partners;
  • Ensure back up for critical activities in OPEX Process Performance Management Pillar - responsible  for centralization and communication of the process performance status to all stakeholders;
  •  Ensure group standards are met, raise flags, ensure escalation and facilitate problem solving;
  • Support group projects or drive local improvement initiatives under the OPEX focus areas and in this way contribute to the steering and continuous improvement of operational activities.

Profile required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; CECCAR/ACCA would be a plus;
  • 3+ years previous experience working as Finance Analyst/ Reporting analyst or Auditor;
  • Participation to organization/ change management/ projects implementation;
  • Power BI knowledge would be a plus;
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills and knowledge of Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables), as well as other Microsoft Office applications;
  • English skills advanced; French would be a plus;
  • Hands-on attitude with structured and solution oriented thinking;
  • Ability to act and operate independently after receiving direction from management or feedback from stakeholders;
  • Being detail-oriented and focused on the quality and accuracy of own deliverables;
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
