Responsibilities

The CLD Business Manager will report to the CLD Chief of Staff in Asia, responsible for leading change management initiatives to support the priorities and goals of the Client Life Cycle Digital (CLD) organization. The candidate is someone seeking an exciting, fast-paced, well rounded position, primarily focusing on change management, data strategy and quality initiatives, managing outsourcing and offshoring for the department and supporting the Chief of Staff on staff initiatives across the CLD APAC teams.

Change Management
• Build a governance framework to track & report all local change management initiatives 
• Engage management, key stakeholders and SMEs on project deliverables – carefully plan the department agenda & hold responsible parties to agreed delivery dates
• Report to management and key stakeholders the progress on the program as well as potential issues / decisions needed
• Coordinate with relevant teams in Paris to ensure that local change projects are in line with global strategy
• Identify areas where end-to-end processes can be streamlined, standardized or automated
• Perform taxonomy & operational process reviews across Asia with all CLD teams, share best practice and identify redundant or time-consuming tasks that would benefit from automation
• Identify processes improvement opportunities and monitor the progress from design to implementation
 
Data Quality, Governance and Strategic Projects
• Establishing controls to ensure data and data quality initiatives are compliant with relevant policies and procedures & in line with Chief Data Office / Technology protocols
• Work to develop strategies to reduce manual work and improve the quality and control of our data with the goal to reduce the risk of error & to enhance client experience
• Partner with the business lines, key internal stakeholders and senior management to organize and manage the priority of data & data quality initiatives for CLD department
• Provide timely and satisfactory resolution to any requests / issues raised by different parties in line with internal policies, the regulatory environment and market practices
• Lead and arrange internal meetings with all stakeholders to identify, mediate, facilitate and resolve and blocking point in relation to data or data quality
• Develop new KRI / KPI dashboards on a regular basis to inform all stakeholders and promote greater visibility and awareness of data or data quality initiatives / controls
• Develop a culture within the department on data and data quality, share best practices & create greater visibility and to strengthen communication with our stakeholders


Outsourcing & Offshoring Management
• Review and ensure contracts between vendors and legal entities are in place and aligned with requirements
• Coordinate across the department to seek feedback and provide oversight on offshored parties
• Manage risk assessments on outsourced and offshored parties

People Agenda
• Strengthen staff engagement, recognition, cross team collaboration, feedback culture, transparency via oversight and sponsorship of committees in the department
• Coordinate trainings, workshops and events
• Coordinate with HR on staff development opportunities

Profile required

KEY SKILL AREAS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Essential:
• 5+ years of experience in Change Management or Project Management
• Strong presentation skills and assertiveness - a strong track record in influencing others to drive positive behavioral change at all levels of organization
• Proven ability to think strategically and out of the box
• Experience in using data and analytics to drive business goals and insights. Advanced users in excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to convey complex/technical solutions in simple language
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic & changing environment
• Relevant industry experience in finance industry
 
Desirable:
• Degree in relevant field such as general management, business administration, economics, statistics, or equivalent professional qualification / workplace skills
• Experience working in Client Onboarding / KYC / Compliance
• Experience in implementing data and analytics strategies in a complex global organization structure
• Referential / Operational Risk / Control functions experience
• PMP certified 
• Lean or Six-sigma certified
• Experience working in data quality improvement
• Analytical experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau
