Description of the Business Line or Department

Lyxor Asset Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Societe Generale Group represented in the UK by Lyxor Asset Management UK LLP that is authorised and regulated by the FCA. Lyxor ETFs is an investment specialist that creates and promotes exchange traded products, in all asset classes, to institutional investors. With a strong culture of risk-management and research, Lyxor stands amongst the leaders in innovative, transparent and flexible asset management.

After nearly 20 years in the vanguard of multi-management, Lyxor has established itself as a privileged partner to some of the biggest names in the alternative management industry. Marketing

The marketing team of Lyxor ETF is responsible for all marketing activity for Lyxor’s ETF business across Europe. The team is split into three; one part is responsible for the creation of central marketing content, the second for local marketing (channel) strategy and the third for digital marketing activities via e-mail and website optimisation. Together the team covers institutional and wholesale markets.

Summary of the key purposes of the role

  • Drive the marketing strategy and execution of Lyxor ETF’s marketing plans in the region
  • Work with Marketing & Sales heads to implement centrally-defined campaign, content & digital strategies in locally appropriate ways for Lyxor ETF in the region. Devise effective and efficient plans for content dissemination across the UK.
  • Manage budget and relationships with external suppliers including media buying, design and event agencies.

This is a fixed term contract position until late 2021

  • To further improve Lyxor market share and reputation through professionalism, discipline and attention to risks e.g. compliance, legal, reputation.

  • •           Deploy central content effectively, devise local content strategy
  • -           Adapt and socialise/deploy central marketing initiatives – including adapting weekly e-mails & campaign materials to make them appropriate to each country & each targeted audience
  • - Ensure marketing materials distributed in the region are compliant to regulation (content, passporting check, disclaimers, compliance review process, audit log)
  • -           Supervise and ensure delivery of this content at appropriate time – co-ordinated with other markets across Europe
  • -           Develop local client communications through focused emails, advertorials, blogs & web when appropriate – keeping central calendar in mind at all times
  • -           Manage external local writers when needed
  • -           Ensure the region’s website is as locally appropriate as possible

  • •           Help devise and implement advertising strategy
  • -           Work with Head of Channel and media buying agencies to define relevant media schedule to maximise visibility with key target clients, for key firmwide initiatives
  • -           Innovate and find new ways to enhance display
  • -           Deliver creatives / content for local markets with the support of a design agency
  • -           Run permanent advertising via LinkedIn

  • •           Build and implement event strategy to attract new clients and service those we have already
  • -           Select local 3rd party event sponsorships and negotiate packages
  • -           Work with Head of Channel to design high quality local client events – keeping central plans in mind at all times

  • -           Work with Head of Channel, central Communications team and local media agencies to develop strategy for region and animate PR throughout the year

  • -           Grow and nurture web traffic
  • -           Maintain local websites and deploy new campaigns at the right time
  • -           Update website via an internal CMS platform
  • -           Deliver reporting in partnership with Digital team
  • -           Provide content for Google SEO and PPC and monitor content ensuring it’s updated and reflective of our key push
  • -           Contribute to developing automation digital strategy and implement it locally: manage well-segmented campaign sends via Marketo (mass email campaign and automation tool) and monitor reporting
  • -           Contribute to development of lead generation and client acquisition strategies in partnership with Digital

  • -           Develop an understanding of local markets, the client base and local sales needs
  • -           Ensure sales are fully informed of central campaigns and part of the decision making process for local initiatives

Profile required

Competencies

  • Some market knowledge and experience in asset management, Investment banking/ financial services industry
  • Sound numerical and Literacy skills

  • Language requirements if applicable are as defined to support the role purpose and coverage areas. English is the business language for SG. Swedish as a priority or other Nordics language is a plus.
