Responsibilities

GBSU and the Central Function teams host multiple IT teams that look to manage Investment Banking Technology and offer expertise and services in a wide array of sectors across Risk, Finance, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Testing, IT Infrastructure, HR Services and Digital Mobile Collaborative Services.
  • Hands-on knowledge on Java/JEE Frameworks(primarily on SpringBoot, SGAPI , Oracle, SGConnect, SGWT etc)
  • Knows one or more messaging frameworks (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ etc.)
  • Likes to do analysis of technical issues by working with developers etc.
  • Has exposure to or willingness to learn SG digital stack
  • Curious to understand distributed systems and explore opportunities for evolution
  • Keen on the entire spectrum of activities – development, release, production and able to contribute hands-on if needed
  • Interest to understand the securities position keeping and Liquidity domain well and be able to draw right solutions
  • Eagerness to add positive value to the business through IT
  • Feels natural to own things and take responsibility
  • Keen to work with multiple stakeholders and arriving at the right decisions
  • Happy to be mentoring team members and help them grow in their career
  • Motivates people in the chapter to be autonomous and make responsible decisions
  • The Chapter manager ensures the chapter achieves its main missions : ensuring knowledge sharing, fostering Chapter members development and building up long term expertise strategy in sync with Tribe’s needs. He has leadership skills providing vision and guidance to his Chapter. He ensures that there is an agreed tribe’s consensus on the allocation of capacity within FT for the delivery of items from the Chapter’s Backlog. He maintains his own expertise through an operational activity.
  • The Chapter Manager shares the above responsibilities and is also the line manager of people within a Chapter
  • Evaluate his Chapter’s workforce and organize recruitments as needed

  • Restfull webservices,

  • Node JS, NPM,
  • Junit framework for Java script (Jasmin/Karma)
  • Git hub
  • Maven

Functional Skills -

  • Basic financial knowledge
  • Financial instrument knowledge
  • Jira (task workflow): optional
  • Require 15 years related experience
  • Clear understanding of software development life cycle and process orientated.
  • Experience in working along with teams in different locations and coordinating amongst them
  • Experience leading in agile mode.
  • Previous Chapter Manager role a plus
