Responsibilities

Manage the chart of account referential in the respect for the accounting standards of Societe Generale group (creations and modifications of accounts and/or attributes): International chart of account, SG Paris Metropolis Chart of account and Internal chart of accounts for commercial companies.

What you will do:

  • Manage the SG Paris Metropolis Chart of account in the respect for the accounting standards of SG group (creations and modifications of general and “mirror” accounts and/or attributes);
  • Give expertise to users of the accounting platform on the charts of accounts;
  • Report activity by issuing monthly Reports on Chart of accounts;
  • Participate to accounting projects to implement accounts and attributes;
  • Propose tool changes to ease work and maintain procedures updated;
  • Launch quality campaign to rationalize Chart of accounts.

Profile required

  • Qualifying experiences in Accounting, preferably 2-3 years in financial services/banking;
  • Academic background in Finance and Accounting; IFRS and Banking business knowledge would be a plus;
  • Ability to communicate and build good relationships cross functionally/countries
  • Excellent abilities in Microsoft Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables charts);
  • Good oral and written expression in English and French is required B2;
  • The desire to work in fast-paced environment;
  • Creativity and team spirit
