  • Define data strategic priorities and establish/set up relevant policies for SG China
  • Mobilize or propose the relevant resources to deploy the Data Strategy and monitor the Data roadmap roll-out
  • Ensure the application of data norms, architecture principles, including methods and tools that are defined by the Group and GBIS
  • Drive the data governance framework deployment and continuous improvement, ensure that Data roles are appointed for each data domain
  • Implement actions related to tracking, prevention, correction and sustainability of data quality
  • Coordinate initiatives and prioritization among BLs and GBSU functions
  • Contribute to the development of pertinent data uses and promote data culture within SG China
  • Lead the Data community of his/her organizational scope
  • Represent Data Governance and reporting on data topics to local regulators, local auditors and local SG Management as well as to GBIS and Group CDO
  • Have interest to learn and facilitate data commercialization for the bank – i.e. support the use of data analytics, data science and visualization.
  • Steer implementation of data tooling and architecture subjects

Profile required

Academic  Background :

  • University degree and above

Working Experience /Technical Skills:

  • At least 7-10 years solid relevant work experience in financial industry, especially in banking sector, and valid experience of project management and business development.
  • Knowledge in data management would be a plus

  • Strong project management skills and solid banking sector business and IT/operation knowledge
  • Professional ethics, integrity, morality and reputation, good compliance record;
  • Seasoned leadership skill with experiences of leading decent size of team;
  • Proactive and energetic, self motivated;
  • A team player with strong sense of ownership and good communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

Language Skills

  • Good command of written & spoken English
