Description of the Business Line or Department
The Transformation team is responsible for leading the definition and delivery of the KH strategic vision and roadmap, in support of the CEO and wider Executive Committee (Exco). The team supports the Exco thought processes in defining effective business plans and strategies, which will help ensure KH deliver on key financial and business targets and on key business change programmes. The team engages with stakeholders from across all departments in support of execution and delivery of strategy. The team also introduces new perspectives to KH to challenge the status quo, and to encourage innovation and creativity of thought.
Summary of the key purposes of the role
To meet the ambitions and strategy of KH, the Chief Data Officer (CDO) defines and manages a Data strategy. This strategy must be consistent with the IT roadmap and in line with the Group’s Data Strategy. CDO is the promoter of the deployment of the Data culture within his/her entity, contributes to the development of uses, to the continuous improvement of Data quality, to the compliance of all requirements (protection, archiving...) related to data and facilitates their access. Data is a strategic axis of the Group's development, an area of strong transversality, and with strong regulatory and business dimensions.
Summary of responsibilities
· Develop and manage the data strategy for the organizational perimeter in line with the business and IT strategy to meet common objectives
· As a matter of initial priority: define, deploy, and lead data governance with the business and the main Data stakeholders of the entity and the Group; ensure alignment and conformance with the PRIV Data Governance framework
· Chair and convene the Data Quality Steering Committee, in line with Group governance
· Manage and implement efficient management of data assets throughout their lifecycle: design (modelling, description, and documentation), quality, protection, records management, using the tools developed by the Group
· Implement the rules to be respected for projects by ensuring compliance with the regulations and standards in force for the Data industry
· Contribute to Data warehouses and Data lakes implementation projects and their usage
· Promote access to data and processing for business high added-value use cases; incorporate data science techniques
· Promote data culture and new data usage opportunities
· Engage with internal contacts: business teams and their management; project managers; IT, security, architecture teams; innovation, digital, marketing, Data Lab; Data Protection Officer, Compliance, Legal, Internal Control; the CDO and Data community
· Engage with external contacts: CDOs of other companies, working groups, and regulators / supervisors as needed
Perform all duties in accordance with the principles outlined in the SG Code of Conduct, as well as the policies and procedures relevant to the responsibilities, to ensure adherence to a culture that treats clients fairly and focuses on the long-term sustainability of client relationships
Profile required
Domain knowledge and experience
· Understanding of the Private Banking and Wealth Management business and environment
· Strong understanding of data architecture, data management, and data governance principles
· Experience with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools and techniques
Leadership
· Ability to establish trust and strong working relationships with key stakeholders
· Ability to challenge and seek to influence senior stakeholders, confidently
· Ability to manage change and deliver in complex organisational change environments
· Structured and strong organisational skills, to ensure effective governance is maintained
· Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
· Emotional intelligence in that self-awareness can contribute to personal effectiveness and delivery
Other skills

· Familiarity with the Group organization at regional and global level
