Responsibilities

SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS S.p.A., one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS S.p.A. ensures a daily support to over 300 clients. Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, financial intermediaries (brokers, investments companies).

Mission: 

The Clearing & Settlement Services Employee runs the daily business in the Portfolio Transfers Team and ensures the proper settlement regarding the transfer of assets related to the Portfolio Transfers business of SGSS' clients. The focus will be on the UniCredit Group business for FOP settlement.

Desired start date: as soon as possible

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Post-trade processing of securities transactions free of payment on local and international markets, ensuring timely settlement on the market
  • Monitoring and follow up the pendings and differences with the counterparties and irregularities with the client's back/middle offices & the market settlement departments
  • Follow up and monitoring of internal and external settlement instructions of our main client UniCredit Group

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics,Social, Legal, Engineering
  • Financial industry background
  • Preferable: prior settlement experience 

Language skills:

  • Italian: C2
  • English: B2
