The Client Lifecycle and Digital (‘CLD’) department is part of the Wholesale Client Technology and Operations division of Global Banking and Investor Solutions (‘GBIS’).  As part of the Global Banking Service Unit (GBSU), it is globally in charge of the client experience across the GBIS activities. Its mission is to ensure a simple-track and distinctive client journey, both on clients’ and on employees’ side, with a continuous commitment all along our clients’ lifecycle.


As Client Facilitator you will be responsible for the client outreach in the frame of the KYC review process. You will facilitate the KYC review process by engaging the client and collecting all non-publicly available required information and documents upon Front Office delegation.

You will take care of the client relationship, i.e. you will be the privileged point of contact for the client during the KYC review process.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain key information for your client portfolio and globally support the front-office and/or coverage bankers to ensure a smooth and accurate KYC review process;
  • Act as a facilitator during the whole process and provide transparency to the Front Office;
  • You will be in direct contact with clients, as you will have to gather all documents and information required. Thereby you must ensure that you retrieve the documents at the right level (client/grouping) and in a timely manner, control that client documents fulfill SG KYC requirements, propose alternative documents in case of push back;
  • During the KYC review phase, you will be the point of contact for the client, which means you will have to manage client calls e.g. explain the rationale to the client in case of push backs;
  • Escalate blocking or complex case, organize dedicated calls with internal stakeholders (KYC teams, Compliance, Front Office) to unlock difficult cases;
  • Act as team Player within CFA EMEA community.

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • University degree with a specialization in Banking / Finance or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Investment Bank or Financial Services Industry with direct external client contact.

Language skills:

  • Fluent English (written and spoken);
  • Polish – Intermediate level;
  • Other languages would be nice to have.

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Basic knowledge of KYC, regulatory controls (Tax, MIFID, EMIR, DFA);
  • Understanding of the specific stakes of the business lines Global Markets, Global Finance, Coverage & Investment Banking regarding business development and their needs related to KYC periodic reviews;
  • Good cooperation skills and ability to work with multiple interlocutors of different levels/backgrounds and from various business units;
  • Highly client orientated, result driven & quality-oriented way of working;
  • Assertiveness, good negotiation skills and conviction;
  • Attention to details;
  • Team Spirit.
