Summary of the key purposes of the role 

As part of the Lyxor US Business Development Team, you will be working within the client relationship management team and report directly to the U.S. Head of Client Relations. key objectives and primary goals:

  • Assist with Lyxor internal reporting
  • Respond to day-to-day client requests
Assist with on-boarding of new Client, as well as existing client review

Summary of responsibilities  

Main roles and responsibilities

o      Help respond to clients’ requests on a timely basis via email and/or phone in consultation with members of the Business Development team

o      Assist with client on-boarding, including identifying potential marketing material, initiating KYC, and following through to ensure documents are processed in a timely manner.

o      Support the team in managing the KYC review process for all existing investors.

o      Assist with the regular investor services task to be performed with our fund administrator

o      Support the Sales and Client services team with organizational efforts, process/reports updates, client follow ups and compliance documentation.

o      Manage weekly and monthly distribution of marketing materials to clients

o      Manage updates / additions of client information into iC (Client Relationship Management System)

o      Assist in Client on-site visits and any local Lyxor event

o      Respond to our general mailbox inquiries

o      Develop a solid understanding of the firm’s funds, products, and services

o      Work on ah-hoc project linked to the business development of Lyxor activity in the US 

Profile Required

The VIE assignment in a nutshell  

This VIE in New York City is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, open to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see

Your profile

  • Graduate with a master’s degree from Engineering or Business school or University in Finance
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills (strong verbal and written English language)
  • Strong client-facing/relationship skills
  • Previous experience in financial services industry and/or familiar with Hedge Fund industry
  • Team oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
