Client Service Manager - Cash Management

  • Resolve account & transaction enquiries from customers in the segments from Multinational Corporate, Large Chinese Corporate and Non-Bank Financial Institutions, etc.
  • Support HKD clearing and international payments by liaison with operations on transaction execution and investigation;  
  • Customer on-boarding, KYC review, account closure, credit facility implementation and renewal
  • Grow existing customer portfolio by relationship management and thorough understanding of transaction pattern of customers
  • Support of new business initiatives, sales activity and communication with clients
  • Support customers and promote Cash Management & Trade Finance products and services
  • Independently implement Cash Management & Trade Finance deals and handle post sales activities

Profile required

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance or similar
  • 5 - 7 years or above HK clearing bank Customer Service or Cash Management/Trade Finance/Transaction Banking support role
  • Commercial Banking experience linked to Corporates servicing
  • Experience in international payments (SWIFT network and message types) and understanding of HK clearing and settlement systems (RTGS, Direct Debits, etc.) is mandatory
  • Experience in Trade Finance including letter of credit, international guarantee and trade financing is mandatory
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills is required
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is mandatory
  • Leadership quality is preferred

Department Description

Client Services Manager is a client-facing role within the Global Transaction Payments Services Department (GTPS) of Societe Generale Hong Kong Branch. 
You will play a key role in dealing with the day-to-day client queries related to cash account and trade finance of our corporate and financial institution clients and delivering a high quality service. This requires a dynamic and flexible approach to deal with a range of tasks that arise whilst ensuring customer comes first.
