Cash Management includes all the processes companies use to improve their treasury management. It allows companies to have a better control over their financial and cash flows and to improve their information gathering

The SG Zurich Payments & Cash Management team delivers and supports transactional banking products and services that are provided to our corporate customers including:

  • Bank account management;
  • Execution and settlement of domestic and international payment orders and collection services;
  • Secure electronic channels for the exchange of balance and transaction information and payment orders;
  • Financing arrangements where we provide intraday and overnight facilities;
  • Domestic and international inter-company cash pooling and netting.

Your main missions:

As a member of the Société Générale Client Service Team, your goal will be to assist the Global Transaction Banking Front Office sales team along with global bankers, in relationship management activities focused on their portfolio of large corporate clients, by providing consistent, high quality client service and support to achieve high client satisfaction.

As part of a customer-facing team, your role requires a strong client-service orientation, detailed operational process knowledge, good planning and communication skills as well as professional integrity at all times. This implies timely replies, regular communication both with our clients and the internal stakeholders, and a willingness to find solutions that suit our clients and our strategy.

You will also be requested to handle cash management implementations, in line with the SG Group’s implementation methodology. This implies a willingness to deliver a top-notch solution in the requested timeframe as well as providing technical expertise (either directly or through the help of the specific Product manager).

As a proud Ambassador of the Digital Transformation of the Bank, your input will be regularly needed to enhance and streamline our processes and make sure the SG Cash Management offer is continuously improved.

Profile required

The Cash Management Team works closely together with the business line Trade Finance Services. Candidates having experience in both fields would be highly preferred.

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience;
  • Additional knowledge and/or experience in operational Trade Finance Services would be strongly preferred.

Language skills:

  • English B2;
  • French B1;
  • German C2.

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Operational knowledge of Swiss, SEPA and international payment and collection schemes;
  • A sound operational and commercial attitude coupled with Cash management expertise;
  • Ability to work in co-operation with other departments of the bank;
  • Understanding of Compliance and KYC processes;
  • Proven ability to build and develop relationships with clients – a strong internal network will be critical to succeed;
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, written communication skills;
  • Able to work well under pressure and handling complex situations and ‘think out of the box’;
  • Attention to details;
  • Comfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving.
