Closing and Servicing Transversal Loan Expert
Acting as a transversal expert across both STR Closing and Servicing teams, the position will focus on overseeing and supporting the Structured Finance department to ensure the performance and the efficiency of the perimeter.

In more details, the STR transversal expert role will be to:
Monitor the chain on the processes belonging to the Structured Finance department
Ensure the data quality and proper control framework of the chain and proactively identify and resolve incidents and process gaps
Work on the convergence of processes and controls with Paris STR and PNC teams
Drive the continuous improvement of the STR closing and servicing team
Provide assistance to the STR manager in monitoring the performance of the STR Closing and Servicing processes performance and data quality
Participate to the enhancement and maintenance of the department’s monitoring and control framework
Oversee the various technical controls and reports within the department’s IT systems
Proactively identify inefficiencies or potential areas of operational risk
Due to the situation on Funding processes and monitoring, the priority for 2020 will be to operate as an expert on funding related topics and across the bank’s various internal funding IT systems.
The second challenge will be to work with operational teams on securing processes and increasing team skills.
On Funding processes in particular, the main responsibilities are to:
Monitor the funding chain from an operational and IT standpoint
Act as gatekeeper to all funding controls along the chain
Identify potential inefficiencies and implement operational improvements
Monitor STR performance and data quality KPIs, in coordination with the STR manager and the global STR teams
Liaise with IT and Operations global teams to define, prioritize and implement improvements
Ensure the training of the teams (Closing, Servicing, IT support) to ensure their understanding of the set-up and close monitoring in terms of funding
The candidate must possess the ability to drive the continuous improvement of the team across all fronts, and the ability to enhance the quality and consistency of the team’s efforts to support the business.

The department comprises of 2 main groups, the closers responsible for setting up the deal in the bank’s system (Loan IQ) and the servicers who oversee the administration of the loan.
