Responsibilities

Social media platform operations

  • Work closely with Head of COMM to upgrade the company portal in both content and visual. Increase brand visibility in digital and social spere.

Content generation

  • Work closely with business to generate local content to promote pillar business in China. Develop China-related content by leveraging sources from APAC and HQ to drive brand awareness locally. Good interactions with regional COMM to promote China initiative across APAC and wider.

External Event

  • Project leader for external event; liaison with business lines work out a full year event calendar; plan, manage, organize and provide timely support to all external events, including client and media events, roadshow etc.  

Vendor Management

  • Manage vendor documents and information, file hard copies and soft copies of vendor certification, contract or other related documents by vendor’s category; well archive payment vouchers and orders. Check the tendering process of vendor selection, bidding record, payment application to ensure the procedure is complied with the bank’s rules.

Policy and Guidelines

  • Regularly review the policies and guidelines, be responsible for updating old versions; circulate to branches/departments and monitor the implementation to ensure the consistency. 

Budget Reporting

  • To assist making the monthly budget and expense tracking report.

External & Internal Communications

  • Assist in other internal and external communication initiatives: staff engagement (such as the SocGener Club, CSR), media, advertising and sponsorship.

Profile required

Academic  Background (degree and major)

  • Bachelor Degree or above, preferably with a major in Communications & Marketing, Finance or Business Administration

Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how

  • 5+ year in digital communication or in a multi-national companies.
  • Previous working experience in or knowledge of the financial sector would be preferred but not a must.
  • Experienced in social media platform operations, including Wechat&weibo, keen in brand building on digital media platforms;
  • Proven track of successful experience in operating company social media platforms and websites, know well of success measurement metrics.
  • Creative background with the experience and knowledge of image/video editing tools (for example Photoshop, Adobe Suite) will be needed to tailor content for digital channels Experience in external and internal communications, especially in branding and event management;
  • Strong skills in powerpoint. Good copy-writing skills.
