Responsibilities

Purpose: 

The primary purpose for the Analyst of the CMS R&D team within the Compliance is to work as a Project Management for development of Capital Market Surveillance Controls in co-ordination with various team. The team member has to also look for enhancement scope in existing controls and participate in testing program

Primary Responsibilities 

1)    Partner with Business personnel, Compliance officers, Data Science and Technology to develop, enhance system control and Surveillances practice

2)    Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

3)    Contribute with Business personnel to develop Control specifications

4)    Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

5)    Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

6)    Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed

7)    Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

8)    Contribute on testing the integrity of system controls by participating in testing program and validating testing

9)    Identify enhancements to existing Controls as part of continuous improvement/enhancement and drive it along with Data Science and Technology team

10)  Preparation of various documents required as part of Control development

11)  Take ownership of Adhoc responsibilities/projects and Adhoc queries from the business

12)  Complete all mandatory e- learning modules within stipulated timelines and attend trainings for which nominated

13) Cooperate and support the management in implementation of any other initiative that may arise during the year. 

14) Uphold the values of the Group at all times 


Secondary Responsibilities 

1)    Maintenance of macro referential and documents

To understand the end to end process flow



Profile Required

Experience: 3 to 6 years


Technical Competencies: 

1)    Proficient in Microsoft office applications and strong ability to learn new technology

2)    Understanding of JIRA and Scrum methodology

3)    Finding the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth

Functional Competencies:

1)    Good knowledge on Capital Market surveillance controls and regulatory framework

2)    Knowledge on Compliance and Banking domain

3)    In-depth knowledge of financial markets and financial market products

4)    Hands-on experience in project Management and certification on Project Management Professional (PMP) will be added advantage

5)    Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline
