Responsibilities

The Innovation Team lead will manage the strategy in conjunction with TSI Paris. He/she will play the leadership role in driving the Innovation agenda within GSC/EBS GTS. He/she will bring in the culture of Innovation by Design for every team, process and program initiatives.

He/she will coordinate with their TSI Global counterparts, Innovactors and TSI Management to ensure all stakeholders are in sync on the ongoing Innovation projects and the encourage the spirit of innovation in the GTS teams. He/she will provide information on the nature, scope and status of innovation projects, and the business benefits gained by the realization of these projects and share it with the stakeholders periodically.

He/she will manage the day to day activities of Innovation Team. He/she will be responsible for managing the portfolio of ongoing & planned PoC projects, as well as co-ordination and managing the work of the Innovation Specialists in the team ensuring that the various skillsets in the team are utilized in an optimal manner.  He/she will follow leading agile and development techniques to ensure maximum throughput from the team and will encourage/promote training and technical development within the team. He/she will undertake regular reviews of the team’s success and adapt plans as appropriate to ensure the strategic and tactical goals defined for GTS are met.

He/she  will work with Internal (GSC Inno, TSI Global, GTS Departments etc.) and external partners (Startups, Strategic partners, Researchers) to insure the latest developments in the field are followed and incorporated into SG as and when appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute as a leader in strategizing Innovation agenda and inculcating within the team and in GTS.
  • Contribute as a core member of the TSI Innovation Team, helping set priorities, seize opportunities to maximize impact and ensure optimal utilization of team resources on the GTS Innovation Projects.
  • Manage the day to day activities of Innovation Team, including task management and follow-ups.
  • Define deliverables for the team and ensure they are met.
  • Manage the portfolio of ongoing & planned PoC projects ensuring that the various skillsets in the team are utilized in an optimal manner. 
  • Work closely with Startups and ensure POC to Production across all functions and services.
  • Identify and develop initiatives, partnerships, and/or activities that support innovations
  • Work closely with the innovation team to help support the Innovactor Community including contributing ideas and resources
  • Keep abreast of major developments in innovations, including programming, science and technology, service delivery approaches, and demand-side creation both internal and external to SOCIETE GENERALE including startups.
  • Support the success of innovation programs by helping to initiate continued engagement with partners, including but not limited to developing timelines and leading outreach efforts.
  • Work with Innovactor’s to disseminate lessons learned and promote new advances both within this community and to external audiences
  • Prepare reports, project plans and templates as needed.

Profile required

Desirable Knowledge and Experience

  • Technical Specialist in two or more domains.
  • Knowledge on more than 8 of the below skills:
    • Networking basics and knowledge
    • SDN/ Cloud Computing
    • Platform as a Service/ Databases, Infrastructure as a Service
    • OpenSource Software
    • Innovation related Projects
    • Desktop Services (DWS)
    • Emerging Tech – Blockchain, Quantum computing/Encryption, 5G
    • Knowledge of Robotics
    • Should have a good grasp of Latest Technologies
    • IoT and related fields
    • Knowledge of AR/VR
    • Latest advances in Computer Security
  • Experience in research projects
  • Experience in Open Source or working on Innovation projects

Others

  • Good public speaker, comfortable speaking in front of large audiences
