We are looking for a Corporate Access Origination professional to join our Investor Access team in New York. Responsible for the origination, planning and hosting of Corporate and Expert Events for Bernstein’s client-base – including virtual and in-person events such as conferences and roadshows. This is a unique opportunity to partner closely with our Research and Sales teams in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a sales-oriented mindset and be able to build relationships with corporate clients and Investor Relations professionals to differentiate Bernstein’s ability to produce best-in-class Corporate Access Events.

As an Originator, you will:

  • Be responsible for commercial event idea generation for our Investor Client Base
  • Collaborate with our Senior Research Analysts to plan a high-quality pipeline of originated corporate access events across specific sectors including NDRs, Industry Conferences and trips, as well as Expert Events in their respective sectors
  • Originate, plan, coordinate and host external conferences, in-house meetings and webinars, including the invitation process, allocations and database management, alongside our Execution team
  • Build and manage relationships with Corporate Clients/Investor Relations professionals
  • Build and manage relationships with your Corporate Access counterparts within our Investor Client Base
  • Manage relationships with our external Expert Networks
  • Attend our daily morning research meeting to learn about our Research, investment ideas and timely sector themes
  • Leverage data and technology to scale corporate access origination efforts and reporting
  • Be a team player and assist Investor Access colleagues when necessary

Profile required

Skills and Qualifications

·        The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure

·        Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level

·        Excellent broad-based analytical skills and interest in the markets

·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·        The ability to self-direct both prospecting and account maintenance activities

·        Prior experience in corporate access

·        Available for Hybrid work environment with 4 days in office

·        Local and national travel ~10%


·        Experience in corporate access in the financial services industry ideally in consumer and health care sectors

·        Prior relationships with corporates and their investor relations teams

·        Familiarity with institutional investor client base

Societe Generale offers a hybrid work arrangement that offers employees the flexibility to work remotely, as well as on-site, in order to promote interaction and collaboration with colleagues while adhering to all SG standard protocols.  Hybrid work arrangements vary based on business area.  The applicable Business lines will determine and communicate the work arrangements that best meet their business needs.


Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
