Support the UK Head of Governance and Culture & Conduct and the other members of the team in:

Corporate Governance

Overall oversight/supervision of the effective running of all SGLB and SGIL executive and transversal committees including:

  Inventory of committees

  Coordination Role with Board and Committee Chairs ensuring ToRs remain up to date, reviewed within the review cycle and align with best practice guidance

  Collation and oversight of the corporate governance framework approved by the SGLB Exco or the SGIL Board

  Maintenance of repository of committee and governance documentation

  Production of MI on the effectiveness of committees and UK governance

   Policy Register

  Maintenance of the MND register (single repository) for all local policies

  Liaison with policy owners to ensure regular policy updates

  Production of MI to management

   Culture and Conduct Coordination

Assist the team as required with the following responsibilities:

  Coordinate and assist with embedding of the Culture and Conduct programme and Group values across the UK platform

  Compilation of the UK C&C Roadmap

  Coordination of the C&C Lead Partners

  Participate in Group C&C activities and meetings and support of Group staff engagement initiative

  SG external representation

  Coordination and management of SG UK’s relationship (including membership and subscriptions) with financial services bodies such as UK Finance, the AFB, TheCity UK, The City of London.

Maintenance of the UK Industry and Business Events calendar

Profile required

Degree Level Essential, preference for Masters in Corporate Governance
