Responsibilities

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities : 


The Credit Administration team plays a key role within CRE managing various tasks including; all department reporting, legal documentation filing, data integrity, and performing all Permanent Supervision controls. The role is to work in and support this team.


Day to day responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Assisting the CRE analysts in the region with the processing of credit applications
  • Assist with the preparation of reports for portfolio monitoring including limit overshoots, obligor risk ratings dashboard, annual review deadlines, covenant compliance, etc.
  • Assist with the closing of loan and derivative transactions
  • Participate in innovation projects
  • Assist in the preparation of KPI reports for the portfolio managed by CRE
  • Assist with the monitoring of controls within the department.
  • Reconciling internal systems to ensure accuracy of exposure data
  • Participating in ad-hoc projects requested by CRE Regional Head

Profile Required

The VIE assignment in a nutshell 


This VIE in Montreal is to begin in March 2020 but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Your profile

 

Graduate with a Master degree from Business school or University, majoring in Finance.

A previous experience in Investment Banking would be appreciated.

You are fluent in English and French.


Competencies :

  • Ability to use standard computer programs including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with banking professionals at all levels
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to learn, utilize, and help improve in house systems
