Responsibilities

Societe Generale group has been operating in Poland since 1976 which makes it one of the foreign banks with the longest presence in the country. It provides services in the area of corporate and investment banking (Societe Generale S.A. Branch in Poland), insurance (Sogecap S.A. Branch in Poland and Sogessur S.A Branch in Poland) and leasing (ALD Automotive and SG Equipment Leasing).

The service we bring to our corporate and financial institutions clients revolves around three main activities - investment banking, financing and markets - and our global franchises of equity derivatives and natural resources. Mission: 

  • Getting acquainted with the functioning of the Credit Analysis Department;
  • Support in drafting loan applications for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Profile required

Studies & Availability:

  • Student status at an economic university for the entire duration of the internship;
  • Availability to work of approx. 30 hours per week (9 months to 1-year internship)

Language skills:

  • English – very good knowledge (B2-C1);
  • Polish – very good knowledge (advanced/native);
  • French would be considered a plus.

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles;
  • Knowledge of banking products;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel);
  • Ease of networking;
  • Teamwork skills.
