CSF provides a one-stop shop for meeting client needs and providing comprehensive solutions in the primary and secondary markets for securitization products, loans and corporate bonds. CSF covers engineering and structuring, financing, trading and sales functions, centralizing credit origination and focusing on distribution.
The Credit and Structured Financing function is in charge of building financial products such as CLOs and arranging structured credit facilities to meet the investment objectives and financing needs of our clients.
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities :
- Assist the Amer CSF business line in day-to-day activities, with a particular focus on the following tasks (which require a broad range of skills)
- Participate in the execution of CLO deals and the structuring and execution of financing projects. For instance but not limited to:
- conduting analytical work on collateral portfolios of corporate credit assets
- operational tasks in connection with the financial monitoring and proper accounting for CLO warehouses
- administrative support in relation to various functions in the process of deal execution: KYC, DSC, Fiche, liasing with operations teams to handle settlements upon transaction closing
- assisting in market, rating agency publications research or extracting CLO information from Intex
- assist preparing investor presentations, marketing materials, pitch-books to support the CLO origination and marketing effort
- Actively stay in touch and anticipate needs of CSF staff accross all teams (engineering and structuring, financing, trading and sales) as well as all support functions (IT Commandos, Quants, Middle & Back Offices, Risks, Compliance, KYC).
Profile required
Your profile
• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization/interest in finance
• Great flexibility to respond to questions and queries quickly and be able to shift priorities with a short notice
• Pro-activity, team spirit and ability to be a connector between all teams involved in the business line daily operations
• Sense of self-control and ability to work under pressure
• Capacity to think outside of the box and to look at the bigger picture in order to solve daily issues, as well as more long term developments.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong word processiong skills and ability to build and format Powerpoint presentations
• Strong analytical and quantitaive abilities including capable to understand and work with Excel financial spreadsheets
• A previous experience in finance would be appreciated
• IT skills would be appreciated
• Comprehensive knowledge and command of MS Office
• Fluent in English

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
