Credit Risk Analyst - Associate

  • Preparing high quality credit applications and annual reviews of counterparties to assess their credit quality and repayment capability including financial statements analysis and assessment, a review of the strategy, business risk, industry dynamics, competitive environment

  • Preparation of financial projections under various scenarios

  • Recommending credit limits and related terms and conditions

  • Proposing Obligor Risk Ratings

  • Monitoring compliance with covenants

  • Assisting with legal documentation (i.e. credit agreements, ISDA, CSA)

  • Liaising with other CCG teams in Europe and Asia, business lines, Bankers, legal & compliance, operations, and Risk department

  • 4-5 years as credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field


  • Bachelor's Degree required


  • English – strong written and spoken required

  • French /Spanish language skills a plus


Within the Coverage and Investment Banking (“CORI”) department the Client and Credit Group (CCG) acts as the credit analysis team for CORI and other business lines within the Global Banking and Investor Solutions (“GBIS”) division.  As the credit department within CORI, CCG analysts work closely with Senior Bankers, Relationship Managers, and business lines to facilitate the on boarding of prospective clients, assure credit facilities are properly booked, documented and renewed timely, and generally to assure business opportunities are not missed.  The CCG Credit Analyst Associate will work under the supervision of a Director - Senior Credit Analyst and will be part of a team responsible for managing a loan portfolio comprised of large US corporates and subsidiaries of non-US groups in diversified industries. The analyst will be responsible for preparing credit analyses, participating in legal documentation, and on-going portfolio monitoring under the supervision of the Senior Credit Analyst.
