Responsibilities

MARK Cross Asset Sales provides investors with multi-asset market solutions. It addresses the needs of distributors, offering bespoke services to support then in the design, marketing and after-sale service of their products. It also serves institutional investors with their asset liability management, financing, hedging or the optimization of their overall return. MARK Cross Asset Sales capitalizes on an engineering team to deliver cross asset expertise and better manage trading risk. Responsabilities:

  • Support senior sales people in providing clients with investment or hedging structured solutions and executing primary transactions (pricing, term sheets, booking...)
  • Ensure the secondary market dealing on such structured products
  • Be the safe keeper of the internal rules (client on-boarding, product governance, risk limits...), in close coordination with the Sales COO 
  • Price and execute primary and secondary market transactions of structured products
  • Produce relevant regulatory documents (KIID’s, ENT’s etc)
  • Produce offering documents (term sheets...)
  • Book and track trades (using SG internal system)
  • Check and track risk limit (CAR, CVAR, CVA...)
  • Interact daily with the Marketing and Pricing/Structuring Teams (for pricing requests or marketing presentations)
  • Provide a high level of operational support to the sales (trades follow-up, on-boarding process, documentation)
  • Solve business or operational issues related to the products sold with the assistance of the IT teams, back-offices, middle-offices
  • Analyze, investigate, research, manage and resolve various requests from clients related to products, on boarding process, client events, documentation (legal and commercial)
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and guidelines ( clients on-boarding, credit risk checks, product guidelines, margin policies, restructuring policies, etc..)

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Your profile

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
  • A previous experience in Structured Products would be appreciated
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Fluent in English

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Dubaï is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months and could be renewable for 12 other months for a total of 24 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact there that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
