Responsibilities

Our Cross-Asset (XAS) expertise brings together our equities, fixed income, currencies, commodities, and funds structuring capabilities to provide you with a single multi-asset market solutions approach. XAS sales deliver a comprehensive range of structured products and solutions across multiple asset classes while continuing to provide world-class trading capabilities.

The XAS Business Manager will be accompanying the business growth of the XAS Sales activity while being responsible for the oversight of the business.


As a Cross-Asset Sales Business Manager for Asia-Pacific, you will:

Support the XAS activity in APAC by: 
•    Addressing XAS Sales requests daily e.g., margin validation, restructuring, replacement risk, manifest error, Master Distribution Agreement (MDA) negotiation, new distributor onboarding etc…
•    Providing advisory and guidance on new transactions, new products, and new distribution set-up in full cooperation with legal and compliance teams when necessary

Contribute to the development and transformation of MARK XAS Sales by:
•    Sponsoring or leading strategic initiatives to enhance XAS product distribution
•    Accompanying regulatory changes impacting our businesses
•    Maintaining the alignment of MARK XAS Sales objectives with those of support and control functions (GBSU, Legal, Compliance).
•    Developing comprehensive business reports for senior management across their various teams (product performance, margin distribution…)
•    Finding innovative ways of monetizing data
•    Working with Sales Managers to identify client wallet growth opportunities and manage related development projects in a timeline manner

Continuously improve the efficiency the MARK Asia XAS Sales set-up by:
•    Identifying and delivering simplification initiatives in collaboration with our partners
•    Streamlining and automating our processes 
•    Work closely with Global Markets Sales COO for Global Head of Global Markets Sales, and other Global Markets COO functions to maximise opportunities for XAS product lines and enhance client offerings

Ensure MARK XAS Sales Asia businesses are properly run, controlled, and protected by:
•    Securing the framework of our commercial franchise/ Identifying areas of operational risks and take corrective actions to remediate them
•    Delivering a culture of risk management and ensure all teams comply with the risk management processes in place
•    Supporting the delivery of adequate and appropriate systems and controls to comply with Group and Business policies, procedures, standards, and codes, including those governing Risk types, Compliance, Finance and Reputation
•    Providing management oversight and monitoring of all major risk issues and concentrations
•    Controlling compliance with rules and guidelines

Department Description

The Global Markets (MARK) Sales Business Management team aims at supporting Sales development in the region while preventing operational risks.

Combining process and business expertise, quality of execution, technology advisory, innovative solutions and operational risk prevention, the Sales Business Manager is a trusted advisor helping to ensure the highest service levels to clients.
 
Run day-to-day operations while also delivering on business-critical key projects, such as new business, regulations, or transformation.

The Sales Business Management Office (BMO) focuses on building, managing & optimizing all sales processes from pre-trade and post-trade. It ensures the best service is offered to MARK clients by monitoring, reviewing, and transforming existing processes. It also provides the Sales management with relevant tools and indicators to ensure the efficiency of the commercial set-up.
