Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities –

  • Coordination on a worldwide basis
  • Application Security activities’ coordination. (Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, CIA concepts)
  • Application Security Assessment processes / Risk assessment with Support teams and Third Party application vendors.
  • Support the extended team in BLR and Paris for the control execution and have excellent coordination skills.
  • Be an active team player to fulfill the requirements from extended Paris team and work along with the team by undertaking primary responsibilities as well as sharing the work load for other adhoc processes
  • Actively engage and coordinate with Stakeholders and senior management in day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate and liaise with external vendors on a regular basis for the security assessment and Penetration Testing (Pentest) activities.
  • Execution of risk analysis processes
  • Identify business risks (using methodologies and tools used by Application Security Team)  (APS team),
  • Provide recommendations in terms of security, allowing to reduce risks,
  • Identify the residual risks and have them validated by the business.
  • Controls and activities
  • Execute the controls related to the processes,
  • Being the worldwide benchmark of the executed controls,
  • Identify new needs in terms of controls and develop them, if any
  • Strong adherence to SOPs and process requirement
  • Involve and deliver with all kinds of requirement pertaining to support the extended team in Paris
  • SOP creation for new activities, transition and in boarding of new activities with minimal support from extended team and to initiate the process by being a self starter.
  • Dashboards & Controls
  • Produce the monthly Application Security dashboards allowing to monitor the activity and report the trends to the Management
  • Identify new needs in terms of dashboards.
  • Dashboard APS follow up with APS Paris Team

Profile required

Technical Skills

  • Sound knowledge of Application Security Domain mandatory (NOTE: The Job profile is Non Technical in nature, it involves predominantly Controls, Analysis, Assessments, Followup and Reporting / Dashboards)

Functional Skills

  • Investment banking – Understanding for Application Security perspective.
  • Application Security risk analysis, Controls related to Application Security and Reporting
  • Application Security activities’ coordination. (Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, CIA concepts)
  • Application Security Assessment processes / Risk assessment with Support teams and Third Party application vendors.
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of the Security Assessment processes is an added advantage


Educational Qualifications: Bachelor / Master degree or engineer

  • Relevant and total years of Experience
  • 2- 4 years minimum application Security Domain experience will help in the quick integration and execution of job described.
