Responsibilities

The program entails the step up of ALD Group capabilities on various dimensions, the most important being:

  • the management and reporting of its credit risks and the implementation of dedicated internal models
  • the management and reporting of its structural risks (liquidity, ALM)

 The program now being launched will focus on implementing those target operating models across all dimensions (organization, processes, reporting, IT systems, etc.).

  1. Client objectives

The Delivery Manager is responsible for overall management and implementation of complex technical projects, including projects where ALD collaborates with other organizations within Société Générale Group.

The Delivery Manager assists in planning, monitoring, and controlling projects using proven methods and techniques.

  1. Mission description

Requirements management

  • perform high-level assessment of the business, functional, technical, and non-technical requirements of the project.
  • understand the project's vision and requirements and contribute to scoping discussions and creation of supplemental requirements.
  • take part to technical design of solutions engaged by the project
  • ensure project alignment to business objectives.

Project Planning

  • prepare a detailed project plan/work breakdown structure that includes functional/technical activity decomposition matrix for projects and key milestones.
  • prepare complete project estimates and maintain the status.
  • perform a Risk Management analysis.

monitor risk mitigation plans closely in collaboration with the Program Manager and continuously re-evaluate the contingency plans developed with respect to their current validity.

Project Monitoring

  • prepare all project reports and matrices to be presented to the Program Manager
  • review the Project/Issue status on periodical basis with Tech Leads.
  • Review overall project status and ensure counterparts/teams are kept informed of changing plans and delivery issues.
  • Take corrective action when team members fail to meet deadlines, remain within budget, or perform at the required standard.
  • maintain and achieves the quality goals as defined in the project performance goals.
  • participate in project prioritization

Communication

  • act as a SPOC between onsite and offshore team for projects
  • communicate regularly with development team, testing team, Technical Leads, Delivery Leads, about project status including development changes, scheduling, and quality goals.
  • develop and maintains relationship with business teams and resolve issues, if any.

Profile required

Education

  • A degree in Computer Science and/or a business related degree; or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 10+ years in IT environ environment working with multiple disciplines to deliver projects in line with customer needs
  • Experience in Corporate Services (Risk/Compliance/Finance) environment is a plus
  • Having excellent risk analysis skills having good detailed understanding of the Credit Risk subject, reporting & IT systems
  • Significant experience in a customer service role and business management role
  • Knowledge in Credit Risk and/or Structural Risks is a plus
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, including cross-cultural competence
  • Proven delivery excellence
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with excellent communication
  • Strong leadership qualities and a passion for building high performing teams
