Desktop Support Hardware Engineer

Hong Kong, Hong Kong Fixed term contract IT (Information Technology)

Responsibilities

1.    Provide daily technical support and handle requests from end users based in Hong Kong office
2.    Resolve cases received from tickets, Emails and walk ups
3.    Create and update cases via ticketing system 
4.    Handling of desktops, laptops and Mobile phones
5.    Maintain system documentation, hardware & software inventory
6.    Manage procurement procedures
7.    Hardware relocation
8.    Provide other IT-related support as required 
9.    Other ad hoc duties

Profile required

1.    Minimum 2+ years with hands-on experience in IT helpdesk or desktop support position.
2.    Proficient in Basic Network troubleshooting, supporting Windows 10 and Office 365.
3.    Knowledge in writing scripts or macros will be an advantage 
4.    Self-motivated, strong problem solving and analytical skills
5.    Able to work with minimal supervision

The IT Infrastructure department, Global Technical Services (GTS), is one of the major stakes for the bank and is at the heart of Societe Generale group's strategy.
Today, the Digital Transformation raises important challenges around IT Architecture, Infrastructure and Security. Many of these challenges are opportunities to imagine new experiences for our clients and new way to deliver IT services. 
Within the Resources and Innovation division, GTS department plays a key role in the Digital Transformation. With more than 3500 GTS staff located across the world, GTS develops innovative projects while delivering operational excellence for infrastructure services to 148,000 employees and 32 millions external clients.
