Responsibilities

 A.        Understand and maintain tools developed in GTS/IAS: How does API work? What is the infrastructure setup …?

  1. Respect Agile workflow: GTS/IAS/DVF chose Scrum with Continuous Delivery. It means people need to be comfortable with Agility purposes, Github, code review, pipelines of deployment…
Team spirit: working in collaboration with all teams and colleagues.

 B.       Promote GTS/IAS/DEV good practice in SG.

  1. Maintain DVF products in production state: Used, Usable and useful.
  2. Collaborate with Worldwide teams (DVF products are for all SG regions and business lines).
  3. Respect GTS security standards.
  4. Be able to present technical details to management.
  5. Propose ideas/feedbacks to allow GTS/IAS to improve.
  6. Promote GTS/IAS/DEV good practice in SG.

Profile Required

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Montreal is to begin in April 2020 but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see http://www.civiweb.com/.

Your profile


Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Computer Science.

You ideally have a similar previous experience.

You are fluent in English and French.


Competencies

  1. Development skills (OOP, tests…): must be comfortable.
  2. Python3: must be able to debug python3 code
  3. SQL and NoSQL technologies: easy switch from Postgres to Mongo and vice versa.
  4. RestFul Web API: must know all rules
  5. Git: versioning code is mandatory
  6. Basics Windows/Linux: must be autonomous
  7. Development Environment: ready to code in a few hours
  8. Communicative skills: must be able to explain what has been done
  9. Jenkins / Docker: minimum of knowledge about deployment tools/methods/options
