Development Chapter Manager - Finacle

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse technology team of around 20 people working across DotNet,Java and varied vendor products.
  • Provide the direction and Lead the technical contribution for the Tribe’s IS transformation initiatives
  • Strengthen the engineering and digital practices within the tribe
  • Collaborate with other Chapter Managers and Product Owners to deliver the tribe's roadmap
  • Works closely with business to map business case with IS Strategy applications.
  • Works with architects to decide which frameworks need to be adopted looking at future needs
  • Involved in the validation process of high level design defined for business requirements
  • Responsible for mentoring and career growth of the technology team. 
  • Opportunity to work with multiple business lines and entities

Profile Required

  • 14+ years of overall experience with exposure to IT systems modernization
  • Experience on implementations using microservices, conversion of legacy technology systems to modern platforms
  • Technology agnostic with ability to manage/contribute on varied technology areas
  • Strong Software Engineering Fundamentals 
  • Excellent people and stakeholder management
  • Experience in Agile software development (SAFE certification will be added bonus)
  • Demonstrate value creation by working closely with business to define business cases and identifying opportunities.
  • Should be able to evaluate and suggest alternate tools in the respected selected technology perimeter
  • Good Communication, presentation, Influence skills, and Solution selling skills to stakeholders within IT and Business
  • Ability to work with different teams or people within organization when required to resolve critical problems that are beyond the current application teams
