Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

Responsibilities Include:
-     Analysis of risk factors pertaining to each activity, define monitoring metrics as needed, understand and challenge the rationale of positions and identify risks
-     Monitor markets, change of policies and events, in particular in Asia, that can affect exposures and business development
-     Ensure cooperation and knowledge/information/best practice diffusion within MARK and the Risk department 
-     Understand counterparty risk framework and manage FO limits in accordance
-     Large autonomy in daily management / daily tasks 
-     Delegation for risk approval

Profile required

Requirements:
-     Extended experience of financial markets and products with a back-ground in trading
-     Understanding of risk of complex products (autocallable, range accrual, variance swap, corridor variance swap, vol target), across all asset classes
-     Understanding of linear products, deliverable/non-deliverable markets, basis, repo
-     Understanding of CCP, CSA, ISDA, counterparty risk, IBOR transition
-     Knowledge in financial models and engineering 
-     Communication and analytical skills, assertiveness, autonomy to analyze complex problems and write memorandums for management approval
-     Resilience in day to day work, capacity to challenge traders and work with other departments

Department Description

Role: Head of MARK/RSR for Asia

Reporting to: 
-     The head of Trading and Risk in Asia
-     The global head of RSR

Team: The Risk and Scarce Resource (RSR) team in Asia is part of the Global Markets department (MARK) in charge of:
-     Monitor market risks of all activities, within Equities and Fixed Income, linear and non-linear
-     Work with trading desks on defining, monitoring and requesting market risk limits
-     Produce analysis of risks of activities or of new products as needed
-     Liaise with the Scarce Resource team in Paris for efficient allocation of leverage exposure, LCR, NSFR, unsecured funding
-     Provide MARK management with a clear visibility on market, counterparty and country risks
-     Support the development of MARK while ensuring that risks are monitored and clearly understood
