Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and expand the TMT business for SG in the region, coordinating with other teams internally and collectively utilizing the strength of the franchise
  • Provide integrated financing and debt advisory services to clients with focus on structured TMT business and to some extent Leveraged Finance
  • Originate and execute business in accordance with SG’s policies and guidelines
  • Lead the credit process (preparing formal requests, comprehensive financial models, term sheets and transaction docs) and structure transactions in liaison with the help of external advisors, within agreed credit risk limits
  • Supervise and monitor deals throughout their life cycle and provide cirticial input as and when required (through credit reviews and periodic reporting)
  • Manage and train junior members of staff

Profile required

  • Minimum 9-10 years of experience, large part of which must have been spent working in Asia-Pacific on TMT structured finance transactions
  • Strong skills in debt structuring & advisory, ideally with some knowledge of rating methodologies
  • Candidate should have an existing network of clients
  • Strong skills in credit risk assessment, including modelling, financial analysis and sound knowledge of documentation
  • Ability to lead deal teams and coach junior staff
  • Fluent in English language, another regional language a plus (ideally Mandarin)
